DR. TYLER BROWN, Optometrist
Dr Tyler Brown graduated from the University of Western Ontario (UWO) with a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) in 2008, followed a Masters of Neuroscience in 2011 (UWO), and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 2015. He was named to the Dean’s Honours List each term.
After a short time at the Centre for Contact Lens Research in Waterloo, he joined the Ancaster Eye Clinic in 2015 and has since proudly made Ancaster his home. Dr Brown offers full service optometric care that includes interests in dry eye, ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, LASIK post-surgical management, and kids vision (including myopia control). He is also involved in organizing educational events as a Co-President of the Hamilton District Society of Optometrists (HDSO), with Dr Hill. He is a member of both the Ontario and Canadian Optometry Associations (CAO and OAO).
When he’s not working or spending time with his dog, he enjoys golf, curling, and cooking.
